Q: Are you legally able to fly UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) for commercial purposes?
A: Yes, we are compliant with FAA Part 107 which allows us to legally fly aerial systems for commercial purposes.
Q: Do you carry insurance?
A: Yes, we carry a liability insurance policy through one of the leading UAS insurance providers - Global Aerospace.
Q: Where are you allowed to fly?
A: As long as our UAS remains within what is known as “Class G” or “unregulated” airspace, it remains permitted under Part 107. Generally this means staying under 400 feet, and away from any airports or other aerial activities. For "regulated" airspaces, we are required to obtain a waiver. This process can take up to 90 days. Please contact us for information regarding specific areas and air spaces.
Q: How far can you fly?
A: We require our UAS always remains in our line of sight, which depending on the circumstances is about 1 mile.
Q: How long does a flight last?
A: Flights normally last 20 minutes from takeoff to landing. We always carry extra batteries to ensure we capture everything requested.
Q: Are you able to fly your UAS indoors?
A: Yes, we are capable of flying indoors. Our DJI Mavic Pro is the perfect size for indoor jobs and has a solid GPS lock to maintain stability and prevent drifting.
Q: Where are you located and what areas do you service?
A: We are located in Daytona Beach, FL and service all of Central Florida. We are available to travel, but a travel fee may be associated for projects outside of the Central FL area.
Q: What information do you need from me to get started?
A: Each photo/video mission is tailored to the client. We will need the location of the site you are wanting captured first, and can move forward from there.
